411 PAIN Sponsors the Sallarulo’s Race for Champions

The Special Olympics have been around since the 1960’s, making it possible for those with disabilities to do sports and other activities that promote strength and unity. The Special Olympics Florida paired up with 411 PAIN to host Sallarulo’s Race for Champions. The mission of this Special Olympics Florida event is to give participants an opportunity to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families.

Sallarulo’s Race for Champions took place on November 10th of this year at Nova Southeastern University. The race started at 8AM with runners and walkers joining along the 5k course. Proceeds from the race went towards the Special Olympics Florida to help the organization with funds so they can continue to provide sport trainings and athletic competitions all year long for those who are intellectually disabled. By promoting inclusion and acceptance for everyone, the event raises awareness. In Broward County alone, it’s estimated that around 44,000-52,000 residents have intellectual disabilities.

411 PAIN is proud to sponsor such an important, uplifting organization whose main goal is to promote unity and acceptance for everyone.
