ऀSince its creation in 1983, the Miami International Film Festival has brought film lovers from all over the world together for a week long extravaganza. This year, the Miami International Film Festival will take place from March 7-16. Their mission has always been “to bridge cultural understanding and encourage artistic development and excellence by provoking thought through film.”

ऀThe Miami International Film Festival offers film screenings every day. From documentaries to foreign films –there’s something for everyone. You can purchase an all access pass for all of the film screenings for $2,500 per person but luckily, there are more affordable options. General admission for screenings are $12 for adults per film. You can even get a ticket for the Awards Night film screening and after-party for $125. Even celebrities have been known to attend the Miami International Film Festival like Demi Moore, Sylvester Stallone, Kate Hudson, Gloria Estefan, Ashton Kutcher, Danny Glover and Viggo Mortensen.

ऀThis multicultural film festival highlights the works of hundreds of artists who dedicate their lives to bringing their vision to light. The festival also offers educational panels that discuss the state of the film industry today and features competitions where winners will be determined by a jury and receive recognition from the festival. Some even receive monetary recognition as well.
