Do We Need This Toe?

For a very long time, there has been a common question reverberating through many minds.

This question often sounds silly, but really it is a very interesting question to bring up: Do we really need our little toe?

According to studies, it has been found that pinky toes are not critically important to our walking process. Now, don’t get super excited just yet and ask for it to be removed.

All of our toes are used to keep us in balance, however, the pinky toe is not exactly placed into the line of duty to keep you upright.

In fact, if you were to accidentally lose your pinky toe, you would still be able to walk and function as normal. The pinky toe was originally tasked to help our primitive ancestors climb trees and maneuver in wild terrain.

So, there’s your answer! You don’t need that little toe but you have it and it’s not such a bother to your well-being. Enjoy having all your toes.
