Tour Bus Crashes

Travis Tritt, a famous country singer is saddened by those who lost lives in a recent accident he was involved in. Travis was leaving Myrtle Beach after his concert on his tour bus when a Jeep was driving on the wrong side of the road and hit the front of the bus. The driver of the Jeep did not survive. When the investigation was over, Travis took to Twitter to extend his condolences to those who lost their lives. The accident occurred because the Jeep driver was driving impaired. Travis told his followers that drinking and driving was never an option — “Uber and Lyft are just a phone call away.”

Lake Martin Faces Tough Waters

Boat season is about to start, however in Tallapoosa, Alabama they are taking safety to the next level. On May 3rd, there was a three-boat collision that left one dead. Since the incident, the Marine Patrol Division has issued a “No Wake Zone” at the bridge where Ridge Island Way crosses to Chimney Rock–an area that can be overpopulated because of incoming traffic.

Bus Route Takes a Hit

In North Carolina, a bus filled with kids was involved in an accident just a few days before school ended. A bus driver in Pitt County failed to yield as a truck was driving by and collided. Majority of the students were okay however, the bus driver and six other students were sent to the hospital for injuries.
