Arsenio Hall Crashes Brand New Porsche

From 1989 until 1994, Arsenio Hall was the host of a nationwide late night talk show called The Arsenio Hall Show. Arsenio Hall became a pop culture phenomenon and his show turned out to be a great success. Since then he’s appeared on several television and radio shows until September of 2013 when he premiered The Arsenio Hall Show, a revival of his original talk show from the late 80’s-early 90’s.

Earlier this month, Arsenio Hall was involved in a car accident. He was driving on the highway in the San Fernando Valley when he lost control of his Porsche and drove off the road. Around 7:15 p.m., after losing control of his vehicle, he drove into a dirt shoulder. The car had to be towed but fortunately, no one (including Arsenio Hall) was injured. There’s no evidence of why or how Arsenio Hall lost control of his car, but the investigation has confirmed that driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol was not a factor.

Porsche vehicles have been in the headlines more than usual lately and for the same reason. Just last month, Paul Walker was involved in an accident as a passenger in his friends Porsche. The law enforcement investigation is ongoing and there’s still no definite cause of the crash although most sources claim speed was a huge factor. The Porsche has three times the horsepower of the average car, which makes it prone to similar accidents. In Arsenio Hall’s case, his accident was not fatal and he walked away without a scratch.
