Without having done any sort of promotion, Beyoncé’s self-titled album sold 617,213 copies within the first 3 days and debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 list. Beyoncé became the highest first-week selling record of her solo career as well as best-selling debut week for a female artist in 2013.
